Passing Night

The Dastardly Moon danced
With the Plum Tree branch
Rising Impatient
Against shadows and chance
Mingled and swirled
Pink and Pearl
And resigned too soon
Left flowers unmoved

Waiting out the Dark

Darkness sits

Like Grandma

In a rocking chair

And the creaking becomes the clock

Staggering bursts of silence and light

The quickening sun

A radiant breath

Beneath frail ribs

And Grandma blooms like the roses

Phospholipid Sunburst

The Devil and a Box of Chocolates

Wafted up

The box

Contemplating its boundaries

Feeling its pointy corner

As the spider shape
